Commuter alert: Red Line trains to skip Edgewater, Rogers Park stations this weekend

The Chicago Transit Authority has alerted commuters that northbound and southbound Red Line trains will not stop at some stations in Edgewater and Rogers Park neighborhoods this weekend.
Southbound trains will bypass the Jarvis, Morse, Loyola, Granville, Thorndale and Bryn Mawr stations from midnight-4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
Northbound trains will not stop at the Morse and Jarvis stations from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. From midnight-4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, northbound trains will bypass the Bryn Mawr, Thorndale, Granville, Loyola, Morse and Jarvis stations.
The CTA says they are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line. They warn passengers to allow extra time this weekend.
