Chicago, IL - Equality Illinois hosts Out at the Sox, an LGBT Pride Night fundraiser, as the Chicago White Sox face the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, August 16.

"We are building a new tradition with our second year of Out at the Sox. We appreciate the involvement of the Sox organization in welcoming fans not only for this special LGBT Pride Night but throughout the baseball season," said Bernard Cherkasov, CEO of Equality Illinois.

A portion of select tickets sold will benefit the mission of Equality Illinois, the state's oldest and largest advocacy organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Illinoisans.

On game day starting at 3:30 pm, guests will have the opportunity to socialize with other LGBT and allied sports fans over drinks, light bites, and White Sox giveaways at a Pregame Mixer hosted at Crew Bar & Grill, 4804 N. Broadway. Following the pregame mixer, attendees will travel together to U.S. Cellular Field and enjoy the 6:10 pm game and evening fireworks from a reserved section in the outfield.

"The White Sox are happy to welcome Equality Illinois to the ballpark for the organization's now annual fundraiser," said White Sox senior director of community relations Christine O'Reilly. "We are proud to offer this type of opportunity at the ballpark for non-profit groups that are making a positive impact in our community."

Tickets to the LGBT Pride Night game are currently on sale for $45, including admission to the Pregame Mixer at Crew Bar & Grill, 4804 N. Broadway, or a standard game ticket in a reserved section is available for $35. Tickets can be purchased online.
