A Logan Square Mexican restaurant will soon be opening a takeout-focused spot in Boystown — and bringing its vegan options with it.
Salsita, 3706 N. Halsted St., is owned by Eric Tores, the man behind La Cocina in Logan Square, 2901 N. Kedzie Ave.
Tores, whose parents emigrated from Mexico to Chicago years ago, opened La Cocina in hopes of offering the traditional food he and his family eat at home, Tores said.
