Arizona Governor vetoes religious freedom bill SB 1062

Governor Jan Brewer (R-AZ) has vetoed Arizona Senate Bill 1062, labeled as "Religious Freedom" late today. The bill may have allowed disrimination to the LGBT community.
"Senate Bill 1062 does not address a specific or present concern related to religious liberty in Arizona," Brewer said Wednesday evening. "The bill is broadly worded and could result in unintended and negative consequences."
Pressure from both Republican and Arizona business interests may have influenced her decision.
