Las Vegas, NV - Las Vegas gay bar Krave Massive, which claimed to be the world's largest gay club, has shuttered its doors after less than three months in operation. Its closing also affected sister property Drink & Drag Lounge, a drag-themed bar and gaming venue, which was also forced to close its doors.

According to KVVU-TV, the properties went out of business after the city yanked their liquor permits.

Owner Kelly Murphy reportedly owes the state approximately $700,000 in taxes.

Krave Massive housed five themed dance rooms, three bars, a martini lounge, a VIP lounge, two stages – one for comedy, the other for performing arts theater – a gift shop, a theater operated by all-gay Guest House Films, and a lesbian dance club.

Krave and Drink & Drag were located inside downtown Las Vegas' three-level Neonopolis retail shopping center. Together they occupied more than one third of Neonopolis' retail space.

Murphy insisted the businesses would reopen.
