Naysha Lopez, Miss Illinois Continental, took first place at the Miss Continental 2013 pageant at Chicago's Vic Theatre over Labor Day Weekend.
1st alternate Brooke Lynne Hytes, Miss Michigan Continental, was also announced during the Sept. 2 pageant. Stasha Sanchez, Miss South Carolina Continental was 2nd runner up.
Kalil Valentino, Mr. North Carolina Continental, took home the Mr. Continental 2013 title in the Sept. 1 contest. Due to the sudden death of the original Miss Continental Plus earlier this year, runner-up Farra N. Hyte was crowned the new Miss Continental Plus 2013 title holder during the Miss Continental competition.
Founded by Jim Flint, the Miss Continental Pageant is held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Chicago along with the Mr. Continental Pageant.
