Chicago Skin Care Expert Omeed Memar Joins Chicago's Largest Gay and Lesbian Website

Leading Chicago dermatologist Omeed Memar, MD, PHD, Medical Director, Academic Dermatology & Skin Cancer Institute, joins Chicago's largest online LGBT online resource, ChicagoPride.com.
"I am very excited about my online collaboration with ChicagoPride," Memar said. "In the coming months I will explore all sorts of ways to attain good skin care and help prevent aging."
Memar's online column for March, "You Are What You Eat", discusses foods that can help improve your skin, among them include pomegranates, blueberries, kale, spinach, and, green tea.

When researching and developing ideas for a monthly column, Memar knew that he also wanted to find a way to make it interactive. "I understand that people get intimidated about cosmetic improvements and procedures," he explained. Online readers can submit questions for Memar to answer; and future plans include a companion blog to the online column.
Dr. Memar, is an active Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, and medical director of Academic Dermatology & Skin Cancer Institute. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
