The parade steps off from Belmont and Halsted at 7:00 p.m.. Registration for a costume contest begins at 5:30 p.m. at the same location.

Thousands are expected to either participate in or view the parade which has quickly grown to become one of the Chicago area's must-attend Halloween events. The parade draws a broad mix of area residents including children and families.

Following the parade, costume contest winners will be announced at the intersection of Roscoe and Halsted for children, pets and adults who registered in advance of the parade.
