DJ Dr. K is best known in the community as an M.D. specializing in Internal Medicine and HIV/ AIDS. But when House calls, his stethoscope is replaced by a set of headphones and the only medicine is music. He's played sets at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Vision Lounge during the Fireball 2003 Tea Dance in 2003, and on the main floor at Transit Nightclub in 2002 for the Hearts Foundation’s AIDS Walk Tea Dance. But it's the deep morning house party - the kind of event that might be planned anywhere from 5 months to 5 minutes in advance, and where you're never sure if there will be hundreds of people or just a handful (although it's a good bet you'll need a calendar to measure the wait for the bathroom) - that has always been Dr. K's favorite place to DJ. He looks forward to seeing you at the Oasis Lounge and thanks the Hearts Foundation for asking him to be a part of Fireball 2005.
