DJ Adrian Fox (St. Louis)

Tue. February 1, 2005 12:00 AM

No stranger to the St. Louis club scene, DJ Adrian Fox’s style reflects a variety of influences. A graduate of the rave scene and an avid fan of the Chicago house scene, Fox’s main musical inspiration comes from the uplifting vocals of Frankie Knuckles and the tribal drums of Danny Tenaglia.

Fox started collecting 12” singles at age 12, well before the inception of the CD single. Ever since 1988, upon hearing “Good life” by Inner City, Adrian was immediately hooked on house music. As his collection of dance records amassed, so did his fascination with DJs. He purchased his first set of turntables in 1994, and the rest is history.

Having spun at various events in the St. Louis scene, Fox currently has a residency at Faces Nightclub in East St. Louis. He blends his beats on the road as well, having performed at Hotdog in Los Angeles, at the Mist Lounge in Las Vegas, as well as other clubs and after-hours throughout the country. Fox is honored to be invited to participate at Chicago’s Fireball 2005.
