LA lesbian 'Poster Girls' for gay marriage get divorced

First comes marriage rights, then comes divorce rights: Robin Tyler and Diane Olson, the first lesbians in Los Angeles County to marry, are getting a divorce.
Tyler and Olson had gotten married in California during the brief June 2008 window when same-sex marriage was legal. They had been together for 18 years.
"What is the standard to expect when you integrate equality?" Tyler told NBC 4. "We're just like anybody else and that's all they can expect of us. We're human and we went through difficult times."
Tyler and Olson were plaintiffs in the original lawsuit challenging Prop. 8., the California voter-approved referendum that outlawed same-sex marriage. Their divorce was finalized on Tuesday, the same day that judges ruled Prop. 8 unconstitutional.
