Chicago, IL-The Hearts Foundation will host a fundraiser at Zza Zzo restaurant on Thursday, October 21, 2004 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. This is a chance to meet the new Board of Directors and mingle with friends and community leaders at one of Chicago's newest dining treasures. An open bar and hors d'oeuvres will be provided with a $20 donation. A salsa DJ will provide ambiance. The restaurant will open to the public at 8:30pm for those who choose to try the Cuban/Caribbean cuisine.
The event will support the 2004 Hearts Foundation beneficiaries: About Face Theatre, AIDS Legal Council of Chicago, Better Existence with HIV, CALOR Anixter Center, Center on Halsted/Horizons, Chicago House, Gerber/Hart Library, HealthWorks Theatre, Heartland Alliance, Howard Brown Health Center, Interfaith House, Lambda Legal, Legal Assistance Foundation, Lesbian Community Cancer Project, Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association, Open Door Clinic, Test Positive Aware Network, and Vital Bridges.
