Chicago, IL -
State Rep. Feigenholtz (D-Illinois) will join the staff of Howard Brown Health Center, including President and CEO Jamal Edwards, at the Lakeview Brown Elephant on Friday, Dec. 16 to unveil a new visual campaign.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. at 3651 N. Halsted in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood.
Feigenholtz is a long-time Brown Elephant customer and supporter. She is among more than 220,000 people who visit the Brown Elephant Resale Shops, located in Chicago and Oak Park.
"I shop local and support small business in my district," Feigenholtz told ChicagoPride.com. "Being able to support Howard Brown through the Brown Elephant during the holiday season is truly a joy."
Proceeds from Brown Elephant sales help support Howard Brown Health Center, which provides $1 million in charity care to Chicago's LGBT community.
"Our community members count on the services provided by Howard Brown Health Center," said Feigenholtz.
