Catholics outraged over Michael Moore's 'Jesus was gay' joke

Some Catholics are not happy that filmmaker Michael Moore joked that Jesus was gay during a lecture at Georgetown University.
Moore, who is Catholic, had been invited to the school as part of their "Lecture Fund" series this past weekend.
"You know those 12 men Jesus was always hanging out with? Hmmm...." Moore said. The audience laughed.
The National Catholic Register posted an outraged editorial.
"Michael Moore is Michael Moore but is there any hint of Catholicism at Georgetown anymore to balk at this kind of stuff? Nobody at the university took offense at this?" wrote Matt Archbold. "Why did this receive laughter at a self described Catholic university?"
