Gay teacher fired after past porn career exposed

Shawn Loftis has been fired from his job as a substitute teacher in Miami-Dade Schools after the administration discovered his past career as gay porn star Collin O'Neal.
O'Neal's films include "Mo' Bubble Butt," "Humping Iron," and "Desperate Husbands." He was also the producer of his own series, "World of Men," a combination of gay porn and travelogue.
In April 2010, reports the Miami New Times, Loftis sold his "World of Men" company and started substitute teaching for Miami-Dade. He said the kids at the high school, middle schools and elementary schools he taught at "loved [him] to death."
But then this past January, the administration got word of his past career and bounced him based on a morals clause in the teacher contract: teachers shall "conduct themselves, both in their employment and in the community, in a manner that will reflect credit upon themselves and the school system."
The Florida Department of Education has also revoked his teaching license.
