O'Charley's Among 200 Best Small Companies in America

Nashville, TN - O'Charley's Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:CHUX), is earning national recognition as Forbes announces their 2000 rankings of the 200 Best Small Companies in America. This is O'Charley's first year on the list, with an overall ranking of 180.

In this annual list, Forbes serves up value and growth among companies with sales between $5 and $350 million. Companies are reviewed based on numerous business indicators in order to make the Forbes 200 Best list, including five-year sales and earnings-per-share (EPS) growth rates of at least 5%. In addition, net income must have topped $1 million during the past four quarters.

O'Charley's Inc. operates 136 casual-dining, full-service restaurants in 12 states in the Southeast and Midwest, including a location on Town Center Boulevard in Champaign. The menu has broad appeal and features a variety of dishes, including pasta, fresh chicken and seafood, aged beef, made-from-scratch soups, salads, breads and desserts.
