In the second order of the day regarding Rahm Emanuel's eligibility as a candidate for Mayor of Chicago, the Illinois Supreme Court this afternoon agreed to take the case on an expedited basis.
No time table has been announced as to when their decision may be made.
The Court will use briefs filed by both parties with the Appellate Court and will not accept oral or written arguments.
Printing of ballots, with Emanuel's name on them, for the February 22, 2011 election is to commence today.
