Prague, Czech Republic - The European Union has told Czech government officials to stop testing gay asylum seekers with a dubious combination of porn movies and phallometric testing.

The Czechs have been subjecting some gay men to tests in which they are shown straight and gay porn while their reactions are recorded via sensors attached to their genitals.

The test operates on the assumption that straight men who were "faking" homosexuality would not be aroused by the gay porn.

The EU says the practice is of dubious merit.

The Czech Interior Ministry told the Daily Mail that the tests were conducted in less than a dozen cases, and mostly on people from countries like Iran.
