Air America, the long-awaited liberal alternative to conservative radio launches this Wednesday on affiliates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco, and on the Web at www.airamericaradio.com.
The big name on Air America is Saturday Night Live alum turned political pundit Al Franken. His weekday program will air from noon to 3 p.m., directly opposite conservative king pin Rush Limbaugh. Franken’s show is dubbed "The O'Franken Factor," a swing at conservative Bill O'Reilly's Fox News Channel program “The O’Reilly Factor.” Franken has authored “Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot" and its follow-up, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them."
The new radio network will hit the Chicago airwaves on WNTD 950am.

Marty will also cover the spinning of the news with a regular segment called “The Corrections.” This is also the place to hear the political voice of Hollywood, with celebrity guest interviews from the entertainment industries.
