‘I’m very excited for my second year in Chicago for Market Days and happy for my debut at Hydrate Nightclub,’ says DJ Orel Sabag
World-renowned DJ and producer Orel Sabag makes his debut at Hydrate Nightclub in Chicago on Friday night, August 9, spinning the sounds that he has brought for the past 3-plus years to countless circuit parties of note.
The 30-year-old Los Angeles resident brings the heat to Hydrate’s H2GLOW in conjunction with the shenanigans that run over Northalsted Market Days weekend.
Sabag’s set starts at 10 p.m.
“I’m very excited for my second year in Chicago for Market Days and happy for my debut at Hydrate Nightclub; I have heard so many good things about this place and can’t wait,” said Sabag, whose DJ career including playing in Florianopolis (Brazil), which included a priceless sunrise and a truly magical experience. He also has DJ’d in Thailand with “insane production that I had never seen before.”
DJ Sabag brings high-energy, Brazilian-style beats with a tribal sound. Plus, “I have been working on new music lately, so there will be a lot of surprises,” he said. “What motivate me the most (as a DJ) is to bring my own music to the dancefloor, to see people dancing and having good time with something I created, and to travel all over the world bringing my passion and joy to others is something that is so special.”
Sabag started his run as a DJ at the end of the pandemic in Los Angeles. “It was very special and exciting as the event was sold out, so I was very nervous and excited,” he said. “It was so good (at that time) to be back to the dance floor, seeing people having a good time together.”
DJ SABAG has been spinning regularly in Miami, San Francisco and Paris, among other locations.
“The crowds in Chicago (for dance parties) are amazing, a lot of energy,” Sabag said.
