The green party that is St. Patrick's Day, celebrated March 16-17, led to one of the busiest St. Patrick's weekends ever for Sidetrack.
"St. Patrick's Day 2024 was a great weekend," said Sidetrack general manager Brad Balof. "It is always fun to have the Saturday Parade and St. Patrick's Day proper in the same weekend."
Jameson had a very cool activation, Balof said, with a countdown clock so at 6 p.m. Chicago time, we all rang in midnight in Ireland, which was actual St. Patrick's Day there. Everyone raised a glass like it was New Year's Eve."
Balof praised the Sidetrack staff for welcoming thousands of revelers to Sidetrack. "Customers were overall very considerate and kind to our staff while they were partying," he said.
Sidetrack opts for green slushies as opposed to green beer. Plus, Sidetreack had "a Wicked (green) specialty cocktail," Balof said.
And the popular Lakeview video bar featured sexy dancers and drag hosts to keep the party rocking all weekend.
