One of Chicago's oldest and most beloved summer street festivals returned to Andersonville this weekend.
It was the 57th year for Andersonville Midsommarfest on June 9-11.
Nearly 80,000 people celebrated the proud Swedish summer tradition with eclectic music, great vendors, food and free kids' activities.
The annual street fest featured five stages of live music and entertainment, including the Balmoral Pride Stage sponsored by Replay Andersonville, Elixir Andersonville, and Evoke Tattoos.
Located at the corner of Clark Street and Balmoral, The Pride Stage included live entertainment, drag performances and a lineup of DJs.
Midsommarfest is presented by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.
