‘Pride events are crucial, especially (now),’ says Cohen
Eliad Cohen is pushing forward with his two life passions, both of which bring him great joy: PAPA Party and real estate.
For the last 14 years, Cohen has been touring as the founder of PAPA Party, organizing and hosting fun-filled events, from his native Israel to all around the world. “The excitement and energy of these events are truly exhilarating,” he said.
For the last 4 years, Cohen has been exploring his interest in real estate, helping others find their dream homes and investing in properties. “The satisfaction of helping people find their perfect home and the financial rewards of this venture are equally fulfilling,” he said.
The 34-year-old Cohen who now lives in Miami added: “Balancing these two passions keeps me motivated and energized; I am so grateful for the opportunities they have brought me.”
Cohen is a producer, actor, model, entrepreneur and more. He is the co-founder of Gay-ville, a gay-friendly vacation rental service in Tel Aviv and was the cover model of a past Spartacus International Gay Guide.
Cohen also is fashion designer of men’s swimwear and footwear, and he hosted a runway show at Miami Swim Week 2022.
“Since the pandemic (started), my life has taken a different turn. I used to travel frequently, but with the restrictions and the risks involved, I had to put a hold on that. Instead, I focused more on my real estate business, and I took the time off to explore other things that I enjoy,” Cohen said. “Although it was a challenging time, I am grateful for the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with myself. Now, I am coming back stronger than ever, full of energy and excitement for what’s ahead. I have learned to appreciate the simple things in life and to be more present in the moment. I’m very excited to take on new challenges and opportunities and to continue growing both personally and professionally.”
June, though, will be a hectic, airplane-filled month for Cohen. He will be at Tel Aviv Pride, London Pride, Valencia Pride, New York City Pride and Houston Pride.
“Pride events are crucial, especially (now),” Cohen said. “Although we have come a long way in terms of LGBTQI+ rights, we still have a long way to go. We must continue fighting for our rights, which are human rights, and support our brothers and sisters who live in constant fear of discrimination and hate. Pride events provide a platform for people to come together and celebrate their identities, to show solidarity, and to raise awareness about the issues that affect the LGBTQI+ community. They also serve as a reminder that we are not alone in our struggles and that we can make a difference by standing up for what we believe in. Pride events are not just a celebration; they are a call-to-action, a way to demand equality and a symbol of hope for a better future.”
Cohen said returning to his native Tel Aviv is always special, “because it’s a city of diversity and acceptance,” he said. Cohen started hosting big parties for Tel Aviv Pride 14 years ago, “and it’s been amazing to see how much it has grown over the years. The energy and excitement of the people there are contagious. It’s one of the only places in the Middle East where people can truly be themselves without fear of judgment or discrimination.”
And he gets to visit his mom.

Cohen will step into the DJ booth for all his upcoming Pride events, a step out of the norm for this multi-talented worldwide star.
“I can’t wait to experiment with different genres and styles of music, to see how the crowds respond,” Cohen said. “I’ll be able to read the room and adjust the music accordingly, keeping everyone dancing and having a good time all night.
“With my experience as a producer and my new role as a DJ, I know I can create some truly unforgettable events. I’m thrilled to share my love of music with even more people.”
