Bold and outspoken Chicago rapper CupcakKe graces the Planet Peach Stage at Chicago Pride Fest on Sunday, June 19.
CupcakKe gained viral success and critical acclaim with her brazen, unapologetic explicit songs and videos.
Her work explores sexuality and LGBTQ empowerment.
Elizabeth Eden Harris was born in Chicago 1in 1997. She began rapping at the age of 14, beginning with church poetry.
CupcakKe performs the Planet Peach South Stage (Halsted & Addison) at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 19.
Chicago Pride Fest, which is organized by the Northalsted Business Alliance, runs Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on N. Halsted St. from Addison to Grace in Chicago’s Northalsted neighborhood.
A $15 suggested donation is recommended. Donations support local nonprofits and fund community projects like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks.
