Goes after Democrats and fellow Republicans who impeached Trump

Chicago, IL - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is in Effingham, Ill. campaigning for Rep. Mary Miller's 15th congressional district campaign. But before arriving in the Land of Lincoln, the conspiracy-theorist congresswoman took to Twitter to go on a tirade.

Her rant, considered "unhinged" by detractors on Twitter, included a disparagement of transgender civil rights.

"Your identity is not your sexual preference or what you like to do in the bedroom," Greene said. "Most Americans don't agree with the invasion of trans biological men in girls/women's sports. Don't forget Dem voters have daughters too, and do not want biological men beating their girls."

Despite her comments, there have been zero known reports of transgender women using women's restrooms to sexually violate young girls.

Greene attacked Democratic policies on immigration over the Southern border with Mexico, and attempted to fire up racist followers who believe her when she says Democrats will end policing.

"Defund the police" has been used as a name for a policy that includes necessary police work but shift some burdens on other social institutions to provide solutions.

"All voters want safe communities, not drug ifested, gang controlled violence," she said.

Greene also attacked Republican organizations trying to prop up the reelection bids of fellow Republicans who voted to impeach President Donald Trump.

"Donors and voters want a fighting GOP not spineless GOP and they don't want their money going to RINOs," she said.

"RINOs" are a disparaging term for perceived moderate and liberal Republicans. It means "Republican in name only."

Greene went off on continued coronavirus precautions.

"No one cares about the Delta Variant," she said.

Greene continued by going after Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Ilhan Omar (DFL-Minn.), Black people, and people who don't observe perceived flag etiquette.

Miller is running for reelection to the 15th congressional district of Illinois. Cook Partisan Voting Index shows it is the most Republican constituency in Illinois. Greene is popular in the area. The district was formerly represented by John Shimkus, who has professed anti-LGBTQ sentiments.
