Disneyland Paris holds first official pride event in June

Paris, France - Disneyland Paris announced it will host its first offical Pride event this year on June 1, 2019. A website dedicated to the event describes it as a "dazzling party lighting up Disneyland Paris" where you can "live your best life and shine with the joy of diversity at Magical Pride."

"Dress like a dream, feel fabulous and experience Walt Disney Studios Park like never before - loud, proud and alive with all the colours of the rainbow," it adds.

The park has hosted pride events before but this is the first to be an offical Disney event.

According to the theme park, a sneak peek of events include a brand new parade illuminating the streets of Walt Disney Studios Park with a vibrant Pride atmosphere and Disney Characters out and about excited to share a special moments.

Event attendees will also get a rare chance to ride thrilling attractions late into the night, in Walt Disney Studios Park and will feature a "stunning dance party featuring some artists dropping some banging beats."
