Hellooo, I'm Katie. I'm a photojournalist major at my local community college and plan to transfer to Columbia next fall. I love art and music. They are both passions in my life. I really want to be a successful photojournalist (hopefully working for National Geographic) and maybe a popular singer. And then later an lgbt activist and mom. I am very unique in every way. I can very much say that there is no one like me that I know of. I love all kinds of music (except for most pop and all country). I am in a rock ensemble group at my school, where I am the lead singer, so I get a daily dose of rock, and I love it. I consider myself Queer: "queer: Originally pejorative for gay, now being reclaimed by some gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered persons as a self-affirming umbrella term." That means that I am interested in both men and women or other. I am not one of those girls who make out with a girl because its hot. If I am attracted to you, then I am.
