Bamboo Club's latest pop-up experience cashes in on Saint Patrick's Day and the green March madness that will be descending upon Wrigleyville. Even though it's still February Irish revelers are decorating and preparing for Monday, March 17. Certainly, party people will start the festivities at least the weekend before the big day or maybe even begin celebrating now.
That was certainly the case at a media preview the night of Feb. 20 when 3505 North Clark Street opened for the press.
An indoor Irish parade and a sea of green meet ticket holders as they ride the escalator to the top. Open Thursdays through Sundays, one will feel immersed in an environment full of clouds on the ceiling and a rainbow of opportunities to take photographs.
A Charm'd cabana offers a secluded spot and a painted green room sets the stage for unique lime green angles to be displayed on Instagram.
Pre-ordered wristband parties begin with a minimum of 15 people and finish with a fun time.
The drinks were magically delicious and the mixologists stationed at the bar could make the cocktails without the spirits for those that don't partake in alcohol. To accompany the rainbow hallway, the Unicorn Dream combines vodka with lemonade and pairs the concoction with cotton candy and Luck Charms marshmallows. Other sweet and sugary drinks include the Rainbow Runner made with Malibu rum and the Patron Tequila-based Tropical Charm. For those that imbibe in whiskey, the Irish Mule and Pot O' Gold will hit the spot.
The Feast of Saint Patrick served up a mouthful with a Giant Pretzel the trio of Charm'd Sliders was a smash for guests on media night.
Finish off the with Shamrock Shake that would make McDonald's green with envy because they can't add Bailey's Irish Cream to their ice cream beverage.
Honoring the life and death of the patron saint of Ireland can be challenging at times, but Charm'd Bar rises to the occasion with eye-popping decorations.
The Lucky Charm Bar by Get Sparked event continues now through March 14 where guests can create jewelry for an additional price.
