Free online screening for Prime Video's Sitting in Bars With Cake

Ever had social anxiety or trouble meeting new people while out bar hopping? Well, the new Prime Video feature film Sitting in Bars With Cake is based on a true story where someone conquered their fear by baking.

The popular book by the same name written by Audrey Shulman follows two best friends and their journey together in Los Angeles. When awkwardness creeps into the social scene Jane, played by the gorgeous Yara Shahidi, starts cooking up desserts to spark conversations with strangers. They coin the term “cakebarring” and the two give the project a year to complete.

Ever get the munchies while sipping on a margarita in the Chicago gayborhood at Las Mañanitas? Craving muffins at Roscoe's Tavern? This latest concoction from Prime Video might just satisfy everyone because of a mix of ingredients. It's a recipe perfectly made with a rainbow sprinkle for the LGBTQ+ community right on top. There are a few queer musicians on the soundtrack that accompanies this flick with a little "Sugar" from Remi Wolf and a George Michael classic both featured.

If that's not all, just stir in the spicy Bette Midler as Benita and a dash of drag within a roller skating scene to complete this treat!
