Opening right after Valentine's Day on February 17, 2023, Super Nintendo World has something for everyone to love. Universal Studios Hollywood, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, California, will be the place to be as fans can immerse themselves in an eye-popping Super Mario environment.

A similar experience already opened in Osaka, Japan in 2021 to big success, so this gives another opportunity for ticket holders to see this special video game habitat. After descending into the lower level, guests enter through a large green pipe to view a massive interactive world.

Mario wristwatches may be purchased to add to the experience, similar to the wands used in the Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village section, but there's plenty to do without the novelty item. Head to Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge to ride an indoor rollercoaster and blast at the baddies you will meet along the way. Before you exit the grounds grab a bite at the Toadstool Cafe and pick up some brightly colored merchandise at the 1-Up Factory store.

The best-selling Nintendo game Super Mario World is more popular than ever with The Super Mario Bros. Movie slated for release in April of 2023 as well. Until the grand opening to the public, look into a possible onsite preview as the Mario crew is currently test-driving the territory right now.

Universal Studios Hollywood has other domains to travel to besides this SNES-inspired world, such as Springfield, home of The Simpsons and Super Silly Fun Land for younger folks. Jurrasic World The Ride continues to surprise tourists on a splashy boat and the new addition of The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! is simply adorable.

The signature attraction Studio Tour has a recent update adding to the iconic thrill ride section with the Jordan Peele movie Nope Jupiter's Claim set highlighted.

Transformers: The Ride 3D in the lower lot has some jaw-dropping moments and make your way nearby to scheduled appearances by characters like Bumblebee for photo opportunities and entertainment.

There are other chances to meet costumed characters throughout the park, so look for Beetlejuice and Scooby-Doo's gang among many others.

Stay tuned for more from Universal Studios Hollywood in 2028 as the location is planned to be the International Broadcast Center for the Summer Olympics.
