Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up returned for a fifth year on September 22, 2022, at 1261 West LeMoyne in Chicago. Many may know the team WeLovePopUps who had a hand in this fall favorite and many others such as Frosty's Christmas Bar and the recently reviewed Big City Ranch.

There is much to see and explore in Windy City's largest corn maze with plenty of photo opportunities. Go big or gourd home is the motto for this group with over 10,000 pumpkins onsite in this two-acre area.

People of all ages can enjoy all that this pop-up has to offer from fortune tellers to full-service bartenders at three bars in the area. Filling up on grub is also an option while visiting the patch with food trucks.

After consuming liquids don't worry there are portapotties on the premises to relieve yourself with handwashing stations. Masks are not required with this outdoor experience currently. There is plenty of nearby parking that will fill up on the weekends, so bring your walking shoes.

Axe throwing and gem mining have returned after success in the last Big City Ranch popup. An attendant will have patrons sign a safety waiver before throwing an axe and then will instruct them on techniques to possibly hit a bullseye.

The corn maze not only contains several specific places to take pictures but fire extinguishers are located in some corners of the labyrinth in case of a sudden blaze. Hay is also surprisingly slippery so keep that in mind when strolling about. Heyyy, you might be picking this dried grass out of your shoes for some time to come!

Fans of movies such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus can rejoice with special displays throughout the installation.

The carnival games are a nice interactive touch with prizes offered for winners of basketball, plate smashing and balloon popping among others.

The services provided are all cashless so bring that credit card or Apple Pay option with you.

Plan a trip to Jack's Pumpkin Patch currently open daily with extended hours on the weekend from now until October 31. Bundle your preferred activities to save money and pick a specific time to visit at

This Halloween give them something to pumpkin about when they see all of your festive fall photos on Instagram.
