Netflix had a massive hit on its hands when the story of the Bridgerton family began streaming on December 25, 2020. Viewers particularly of the female persuasion gravitated to the tale of love set in London's Regency era. It took a queer woman to bring the project to life with Shondaland, a television production company helmed by Shonda Rhimes.

Season two surpassed the first season and is the most-watched English-language television series on Netflix. It premiered on March 25, 2022, to positive reviews and a new storyline.

We live in a time period where fans want an excuse to dress up and be immersed in a fantasy. Along comes The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience with perfect timing that debuted in Chicago this past April. The XS Tennis and Education Foundation, 5336 South State Street, was transformed from a nonprofit indoor tennis court to a majestic ballroom.

While waiting for the Queen to enter the court, visitors may line up for photographic opportunities, merchandise purchasing options and themed cocktail offerings at the bar. The only thing missing is food, but who really eats at public events anyways?

One high-tech photo opp worked especially well with an interactive video screen after taking a picture that made people squeal in delight!

Fans can feel they are a part of high society as they compete for the attention of the Queen herself. As she enters the long red carpet runway, guests bow and curtsy to show respect, then individuals may try their hand with a short private moment to gain her favor and become Diamond of the season.

Lady Whistledown coaxes the crowd throughout the experience as they enter the ballroom and may dance while watching a love story unfold. Many more surprises followed as A Bridgerton Experience continued to blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

Beware of the aggressive valet monster outside as there is parking on the outskirts of the building and a redline train is also an option with an L stop only a block away.

The merchandise is exquisite but pricey for patrons to purchase, but can add to your costume if necessary. VIP ticket holders are given one glass of champagne and high-rise seating that is quite valuable to those in high heels for a brief respite from the sometimes crowded dance floor.

The string quartet will play peppy renditions of current pop hits just like the captivating soundtrack that accompanies the series. The performers blend in with the attendees to demonstrate dance moves and traditions of the time period. The experience is a chance to perform right along with the actors while living out a fantasy life at the same time.

The age requirement is over 21 years of age, but the creators could have reserved special dates for younger fans. Little girls love dressing up as princesses and would have had the time of their lives if this experience was geared towards them. Bridgerton is ultimately a very adult show, but these fairytale immersive experiences can be money-making ventures if handled in the proper way.

Time is running out as A Bridgerton Experience ends its time in Chicago on June 19, 2022. Make haste over to BridgertonExperience.com to order a ticket before it is too late!

The third and fourth seasons of Bridgerton are already in the works so stay tuned for future release dates at Netflix.com!
