Luke's Lobster is celebrating its 9th anniversary on Oct. 1 and everyone should be joining them. They are unbelievably reducing the price of their lobster roll to $16.

Upon trying the delicious sandwich, the quality shows. President and co-founder of Luke's Lobster Ben Conniff sat down to explain the process of catching lobsters and why he's lowering the price. China has tariffs that will close off the Maine lobster industry so to combat this the price is being lowered from the original price of $17. It's a reminder to visit them again.

There are two locations at 134 N. LaSalle St. and 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza on the second floor. The lobster is steamed in Maine instead of shipping them first, making a difference in taste and consistency.

There are other items to sample aside from the roll, like the clam chowder made from Hurricane's Soups in Maine. The menu smartly gives suggestions for those that are indecisive and there are plenty of drinks to accompany your order.

Look for Luke's at lunchtime today!

River Roast continues to provide some of the best cuisine in the city and this time speed is the key.

Now there is a 45 minute power lunch offered with three course and dessert. For a flat fee of $35 a special menu is provided.

The burrata was a delicious way to start a recent meal I had there. Maybe go for the meatballs next, then head to the curry chicken salad sandwich before finishing things off with some chocolate cake.

The chicken sandwich at River Roast is really special thanks to some buttermilk batter. The whole chicken served tableside with apple wood smoked potatoes is also a must try item!

Make sure and visit 315 N. LaSalle Dr. for a top notch experience with Tony Mantuano's team and a special spectacular view that make one come back for more!
