Wings Fly Into the Zone

Wing Zone was founded in 1981 and has a new location in Skokie at 3612 Touhy Ave. Located as part of a strip mall with a small dining room, this hot spot focuses on delivery, carryout and flavor.

The fun part is picking out the sauce to pair with the chicken. Tastes range from buffalo bliss to a lemon zinger and everything in between. If you like chicken and waffles try the cinnamon maple sauce. The garlic parm was good on both the burger and wings.

If you like things spicy there's the nuclear habanero or cool down with the cool ranch. There is really a flavor for anybody and learning which sauce is a favorite is part of the fun.

The staff is helpful and full of suggestions to make dining there pleasant.

It was really a flavorful and filling experience at Wing Zone that must be savored. The desserts could be expanded more in the future but overall I was a stuffed chicken so no need this time out.
