The Mexican resort city of Puerto Vallarta waved a rainbow flag over Memorial Day weekend.

Located in the state of Jalisco, the area has become a huge destination place for LGBT tourists especially from Chicago. The place is a nice getaway for people tired of the weather in the Windy City.

Pride is new for the town that increasingly grows gayer in visitors each year.

The gay celebration now lasts 12 days with events each day. Circuit parties for both men and women who like to dance the night away.

Many bars were represented in the gay parade this year with floats and go go boys.

Grease was a popular theme with two floats and restaurants continued their support by handing out beads in the parade.

Alaska Airlines encouraged tourists to fly with them by being a large sponsor.

Grand marshal Myriam even stayed after the parade was over to take photographs with fans in the streets.

Don't let the parade pass you by next year as it promises to be even bigger.
