Bar Pastoral opened up recently with table service at the location of 2947 North Broadway in Lakeview. Adding onto the retail shop even late night dining is now offered to this bustling establishment.
Partners Greg O'Neill and Ken Miller have teamed up with Bravo Top Chef contestant Chrissy Camba to create an experience that has people banging at the front door to get in.
The first Pastoral shop was opened in 2004 and now has grown to four locations from 53 E. Lake to 131 N. Clinton St at the French Market.
This new area has a curved ceiling to represent old time wine cellars including butter churn lighting fixtures to bring back that old rustic feeling. The room seats fifty guests with dark soapstone table tops.
Look for house made charcuterie with chicken liver mousse and cured meats including duck salami. There are sixteen glass pours featuring sustainable wines. Half glasses of wine are offered for trying along with a pairing board but self pairing is encouraged.
Get ready for the spring when the front windows open up to a 25 seat patio that stretches across both Broadway storefronts.
Visit www.pastoralartisan.com/bar-pastoral for more information. No reservations are offered there so get there early for a prime spot.
