Freddy's Ribhouse (Closed)
Freddy's does ribs like no other "joint" in Chicago. They class them up with a subdued setting, romantic lighting and tables adorned with crisp, white linens. The "BBQ" here is sweet and smoky. Small area outdoors seats 30.

Blue Iguana Chicago (Closed)
Cute "frat boys", messy eats and lots and lots of beer. Blue Iguana serves BBQ up in this Wrigleyville setting that will appeal to that inner "straight" in us all. There is live music on a regular basis. Outside access up to 20 people.

Smoke Daddy BBQ - Wicker Park
Blues and Rhythm and good ol' southern style Bar-B-Que. This place is small but the food keeps packing 'em in. Smoke Daddy does have outdoor seating, open during the "warmer" months.

Twin Anchors Restaurant and Tavern
This nautical themed restaurant bottles and sells it's own slightly sweet, spicy sauce. It did take a while to get used to eating BBQ in a fishhouse but once that meat falls off the bone, the world around me becomes dark. Outdoor seating is limited.

Weber Grill
This place is not really a "BBQ" joint but is does do a mean grill. It is a chain. Not always a bad thing. the available seating on the sidewalk is a kicker. It can seat up to 125 people. Great place for after-work drinks and a nosh.
