Season 15 of Rupaul's Drag Race premiered on Jan. 6 with 16 queens: Amethyst, Anetra, Aura Mayari, Irene Dubois, Jax, Loosey LaDuca, Luxx Noir London, Malaysia Babydoll Foxx, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Princess Poppy, Robin Fierce, Salina EsTitties, Sasha Colby, Spice, and Sugar. The Grand Finale will air Friday, April 14, 2023.
On Episodes 3 titled "All Queens Go to Heaven" the remaining 15 queens divided themselves into three equal groups of five to work together on promotional bits advertising a queer heaven. At the end of the episode, Amethyst again found herself in the bottom alongside Princess Poppy. The two queens lip-synced to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Diana Ross. Ru named Amethyst the winner and delivered the dreaded “sashay away” to Princess Poppy.
This week, Ru surprises the queen with an early-in-the-season “double helping” of Snatch Game! The Emmy-winning drag queen competition is broadcast Fridays at 7:00 pm CT on MTV.
Everyone knows this show is so much better shared. Here’s a list of viewing parties happening at some of your favorite venues in LGBTQ Chicago. So, sashay over!
