Spumoni
Each of the three chiffon layers of this towering cake is different (chocolate, cherry, and pistachio) and complements one another. The combination of colors hiding inside and mirrored outside of each Spumoni cake add flair and fun to this dessert.
9
Banoffee
Derived from the English dessert pie, the Banoffee is a hefty, layered chocolate cake, filled with bananas, toffee, caramel, and vanilla mousse. “A slice of this cake is definitely one of those ‘treat yourself’ moments,” he said.
8
Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake
This cake is a seasonal fall flavor, but has customers requesting custom orders for it year-round. It contains a thick layer of cheesecake, sandwiched between ends of pumpkin cake. The cinnamon mousse and crunch of the pecans tie it all together.
7
Ferrero
This decadent chocolate cake contains Nutella hazelnut mousse, plus bits and pieces of the Ferrero Rocher candy pieces littered throughout. With a sexy chocolate drip running down its edge, it is easy to see why the Ferrero is a fan favorite.
6
Brooklyn Blackout
The Brooklyn Blackout is the best-selling chocolate cake at Jennivee’s Bakery, Maugaotega said. The richness of its chocolate cake layers and the chocolate buttercream practically melt in your mouth, and the chocolate pudding center makes for a perfectly moist bite.
5
Mango Cream
This tropical cake flavor is made with layers of chiffon and a light mango mousse. Despite its bright and vibrant appearance, the Mango Cream is not as sweet as it may seem. It is a great departure from your standard, everyday cake flavor.
4
Purple Velvet
Made with ube (purple yam) and filled with macapuno (young coconut), the Purple Velvet is a distinctly Filipino flavor and the best-seller at Jennivee's Bakery. The purple color is striking to customers and is not related to a typical red velvet like the name implies.
3
Sans Rival
The Sans Rival is the only gluten-free option offered at Jennivee's Bakery, and is another distinctly Filipino flavor that the business has chosen to introduce to the community. It contains many layers of cashew-meringue, filled with buttercream.
2
Hummingbird
This is the premiere, banana-cake flavor offered at the bakery. The cake alone is a winner, but to make things even better, it is layered with caramel, cream cheese frosting, and candied pecans. Each slice is an incredible blend of sweetness and crunch.
1
Tres Leches
Although it is simple, the Tres Leches is a very popular item and universally loved. The sweet milk absorbs into the chiffon layers of the cake so flawlessly and is what makes this cake a “wet dream,” he said. “Paired with vanilla mousse and garnished with berries, it is my favorite flavor at Jennivee's Bakery.”
