In July, Chicago-native Steve Grand became an overnight sensation when he posted the video "All-American Boy" on YouTube. ChicagoPride.com's Gregg Shapiro was one of the first to score an interview with this rising star.

Actor, singer and songwriter David Cassidy (aka Keith Partridge) performed Chicago's Northalsted Market Days in August. Before the show, Cassidy spoke with ChicagoPride.com's Jerry Nunn.

Branden James made Chicago and its gay community proud when he was a finalist on the eighth season of NBC's America's Got Talent. Gregg Shapiro interviewed the classical crossover tenor in August.

Grammy-nominee Margaret Cho remains an outspoken and close friend to the LGBT community. Gregg Shapiro interviewed Cho before her performance at the Chicago Theater in October.

In 2013, Julia Stiles starred in a Internet series called Blue. Jerry Nunn talked to the award-winning actress about her push to online dramas.

Travis Wall made quite a splash on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. Jerry Nunn spoke with the sexy dancer and choreographer before the show Shaping Sound at the Harris Theatre in May.
