For the talent show on the Main Stage, the 16 queens opened the night with a pageant-inspired group number that allowed each of them to show a small bit of their personal style. That was followed by the back-to-back presentation of all 16 solo performances. Irene, Marcia, Anetra, Amethyst, Jax and Loosey while the other 10 were declared safe for another week. Anetra was this week’s winner. Marcia and Jax were given safety, leaving Irene and Amethyst as the bottom two set to face off in the Lip Sync for Your Life. Ultimately, Ru decided that Amethyst was the winner to stick around and gave Irene the season’s first sashay away.
This week, the queens divide into small groups to sell Ru on their “vision of the after life” in “All Queens Go to Heaven” spoof videos. The Emmy-winning drag queen competition is broadcast Fridays at 7:00 pm CT on MTV.
