Floris Suites Hotel hosts multiple events, March 29-31

More than 500 are expected to attend the inaugural Caribbean Gay Spring Break Festival, set for March 29-31 in Curacao.

Organizers are going all-out to turn the event into a sexy, star-studded, DJ and go-go dancer-filled extravaganza that is attracting attendees from throughout the Caribbean, North and South America, plus Europe.

"Curaçao is known for being the most LGBT-welcoming destination in the Caribbean with its live-and-let-live mentality, which has led to a successful (Curacao) Pride for the past six years," said Jurandy Regina, the sales & marketing manager at the Floris Suite Hotel – Spa & Beach Club, which is the organizer and promotor for the event.

"The goal for the Caribbean Gay Spring Break Festival is to keep promoting the Caribbean as a gay-welcoming destination," as the event will feature multiple parties, high-energy popular DJs from Brazil and elsewhere, plus sexy go-go boys.

The Floris Suite Hotel will be the host venue for two of the Festival's events: a Rainbow Lounge Happy Hour and the Kingdom Of Thrones party with international and local DJs, plus a bevy of muscle-packed entertainers.

The closing event is Aquatica, a boat party that will sail along the coast of Curaçao.

The DJ slate for the Caribbean Gay Spring Festival is loaded, starting with Diego Summers, a Brazil native who is the resident DJ at BACKDOOR Amsterdam. Summers has been at BACKDOOR for the past four years and has anchored his sound on his signature progressive and uplifting house music, which he has delivered throughout Europe and in the U.S.

Why Curacao?

Why not Curacao!

Curacao boasts 35 captivating cove beaches, a diverse heritage spanning 55 different cultures, and unrivaled traditional European architecture. Curacao is a must-visit destination.

Curaçao is perfect for adventure seekers, beach bums, divers, history buffs, epicureans and modern-city explorers. And, Curacao features Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage City. The capital's Dutch colonial ancestry is evident at every turn, most notably in Punda's kaleidoscopic, sherbet-colored architecture.

Curacao also features more than 60 dive sites around the island, plus sidewalk cafés, gourmet restaurants, local eateries, markets and more.

And the Floris Suite Hotel – Spa & Beach Club is an adult-only, gay-welcoming hotel, with 72 suites, plus a full-service spa, pool, sauna, steam room, and more.

"It you're already (fed up with) feeling the winter cold, (come attend) the Caribbean Gay Spring Break Festival. Come get away and have a good time in the Caribbean, meeting new friends and enjoying a warm weekend getaway," Regina said.
