Breakout musician Daya has several top hits, was named the youngest honoree on Forbes 30 Under 30 list, debuted as #5 on Billboard's 21 Under 21 list, and won a Grammy Award (Best Dance Recording – "Don't Let Me Down" with The Chainsmokers.)

And she's achieved all of this before age 19!

Daya [pronounced "day-uh"] goes by the Hindu name for "Grace" in a nod to her Indian Grandfather and was raised on the east coast. She has reached a total 1.55 billion streams of Spotify. Her release, "Feel Good," a collaboration with the producers Gryffin& Illenium, has reached 43+ million streams on Spotify.

"Sit Still, Look Pretty," off of her (RIAA-Certified Gold) 2016 LP of the same name, is platinum-certified, has amassed 179 million streams on Spotify and spent 24 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Her first single "Hide Away," also featured on her debut EP Daya, is now double platinum-certified, garnering more than 262 million streams on Spotify, and notching Top 10 and Top 25 spots on Billboard's Pop Songs and Hot 100 charts, respectively.

Daya's distinct vocals are also featured on The Chainsmokers' Grammy-winning single "Don't Let Me Down," which hit #1 at pop radio and #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with over 882+ million streams on Spotify, making it the 8th most-streamed song ever on Spotify.

Besides the Grammy win, "Don't Let Me Down" received nominations at the 2016 American Music Awards (Best Collaboration) and MTV Video Music Awards (Best Electronic Video), and "Sit Still, Look Pretty" received a 2017 Radio Disney Music Award (Song of the Year).

Daya has been named by Rolling Stone as of one of their "10 New Artists You Need to Know," and has been called one of the "6 Indie Artists You Should Be Listening to.." by InStyle. She's had numerous high-profile performances, including Dancing with the Stars, LIVE with Kelly, TODAY Show, Good Morning America, Late Late Show with James Corden, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Radio Disney Music Awards and at the 2016 White House's annual Easter Egg Roll with Barack and Michelle Obama.

Earlier in March 2018, music producer, RL Grime released, "I Wanna Know" featuring Daya.

PrideFest Milwaukee 2018

This year marks the third decade of Pride celebrations in Milwaukee. PrideFest Milwaukee began in 1987, thanks to the efforts of the Milwaukee Lesbian/Gay Pride Committee. PrideFest Milwaukee remains the world's largest LGBTQ pride festival staffed entirely by volunteers. Last year the organization celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Milwaukee's festival is unique among Pride festivals in that it has its own, permanent festival park to call home. While most Pride events around the country, including Chicago, take place at block parties, neighborhood parks, or temporary stages, PrideFest Milwaukee is now celebrating its 22nd year at Henry W. Maier Festival Park, home to Summerfest, the nation's largest music festival, as well as Milwaukee's summer ethnic festivals.

PrideFest Milwaukee runs June 7, 8, 9 and 10. Festival tickets allow access to all acts on all stages, with no separate cost for headline shows. Four-day weekend passes for $39 offer the best value. Single-day, VIP and weekend VIP tickets are also available.
