Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award nominee Lady Gaga will host an event to benefit four regional gay marriage groups this weekend.

The Hands Up for Marriage Equality benefit will take place on Saturday, January 16 at Club Worship inside the House of Blues at the Showboat Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.

Proceed will benefit four regional gay rights organizations advocating for marriage equality: The Power, Empire State Pride Agenda, Garden State Equality and Equality Pennsylvania.

"I am honored to be able to continue to raise awareness and money for this cause and these outstanding organizations," Lady Gaga said in a statement. "Organizations like these are in the trenches every day working on behalf of all of us whether you are LGBT or straight."

"Equal and full civil rights are suppose to be for all of us," she added.
The benefit begins at 10PM – immediately following Lady Gaga's Atlantic City concert – and will feature the music of DJ's Micheal Decero and Vito Fun.

Showboat Casino and Hotel is offering a special nightlife room rate for attendees.
