Anaheim, California -
It seems anti-PC crusaders have found a new battle in their never-ending war against decency.
This time, they have rallied behind Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf after he was fined $10,000 by the NHL for calling a referee a "cocksucker" several times during a game.
That caused Jason Lamb of Chino Hills, California to set up a GoFundMe page for Getzlaf.
"Now if everyone donates just $1 we can raise enough money to send a message to the NHL that no more will this kind of snowflake overreaction to words stand," he wrote. "If we are able to raise enough money it can go to the Ducks' captain to give to a local charity of his choice."
OutSports reports that Getzlaf's salary this year alone is $9.25 million, which is just a fraction of his current $66 million contract.
As of this writing, the campaign has raised $360.
