Robert Sepulveda, Jr., the prince on Logo's gay bachelor show, has confirmed rumors that he once worked as an escort.
In Finding Prince Charming, out singer Lance Bass plays host to 13 gay men who are vying to win over Sepulveda, described by producers as one of the "nation's most eligible gay heartthrobs."
The Huffington Post's Noah Michelson asked Sepulveda to respond to the escort rumors.
"The past is the past," Sepulveda answered. "I was young and it helped through college. But what I want people to focus on is who I am today as an entrepreneur, as an activist. I started a non-profit and, you know, focusing on the show. That's really what I want people to focus on."
"We all have our past. I was in a boy band. I'll admit it," Bass injected with a wry smile.
Sepulveda also credited the show with helping him move on.
"The show allowed me as well to close a lot of chapters in my life that I felt a lot of guilt around, a lot of shame and a lot of things I thought I couldn't share and express," he said.
Finding Prince Charming debuts September 8 on Logo, the network which airs RuPaul's Drag Race.
