Taste the World at Edgewater Dinner Crawl

Chicago, IL - Edgewater Summer Dinner Crawl features dinner treats from 12 of Edgewater's finest restaurants along with tastes of art, live music and dance. The one-night event happens on Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. The starting point is the Bridgeview Bank Group, 1058 W. Bryn Mawr, where participants will pick-up their passports for entry into all participating restaurants and businesses along Bryn Mawr, between Broadway and Sheridan. They will then proceed to the participating restaurants for tasting-sized portions at each location. It's a menu for a wonderful evening in historic Edgewater. In a few blocks you will travel a world of flavors from Thailand, Italy, Greece, Mexico, India, China and more.

Participants will also experience theater performances from Quest Theatre Ensemble and more. Businesses in the area will also host entertainment, promotions such as T-shirt giveaways, free hair consultations, free hand/arm massages, and outdoor tables with fun-quick party games.

Participating restaurants include: Anna Held Florist; Apart Pizza; Ben's Noodles and Rice; Bryn Mawr Deli; Flourish Bakery Café; Francesca's Bryn Mawr; Hella's Gyros; Mei Shung; Starbucks; That Little Mexican Café; The Little India Restaurant; Zanzibar. The participating businesses are Chicagoland Games, Joel Hall Dancers & Center, Quest Theatre Ensemble, Salon 64 and Salon Echo.

Sponsored by Bridgeview Bank Group, Chase Bank, Holsten Real Estate Development Corp and Lakefront Group Realty Associates, the event benefits the Edgewater Development Corporation, a non-profit community development corporation focusing on the economic and physical development of Edgewater's commercial districts.
