Chicago is Dining Out for Life, Thursday, April 28

Dozens of Chicago restaurants are participating the national Dining Out for Life fundraiser, Thursday, April 28, by donating 30% or more of their proceeds to help fight HIV/AIDS.
The annual event is a chance for community members to enjoy a meal at a favorite restaurant while locally helping raise money for Edge Alliance, which serves the needs of those living with HIV/AIDS, individuals living with disabilities, and Veterans that are homeless.
Dining Out for Life is one of Edge Alliance's biggest, most important fundraisers of the year. Last year, 9,000 diners came out to raise over $75,000.
Chicago is one of 60 cities across the U.S. hosting Dining Out for Life events. Some of the others include Atlanta, Indianapolis, Houston, Seattle, Key West and San Francisco.
With the help of more than 250,000 diners, Dining Out for Life expects to raise over $4 million to support those living with HIV/AIDS.
This year's Dining Out for Life chair is Michael Pearce while Jessica Rossman serves as honorary chair. Gillman Subaru is the presenting sponsor of this year's event.
