Calling all extraterrestrials and space explorers, Saturday, Oct. 24

Chicago, IL - The Great Pumpkin comes early this year! Neverland invites all species to "Alien Invasion," the Halloween edition of their popular series of high-concept theme parties this Saturday, Oct. 24 at Circuit Night Club in Boystown. Partygoers will be treated to an array of vivid and fantastical sci-fi creations, from an elaborate set and light show to out-of-this-world costumes and makeup effects like the alien heads worn by sexy male models in the party's accompanying photo shoot and advertisements.

"Some people thought we photoshopped heads from the Ridley Scott 'Alien' franchise onto human bodies," Anthony DiFiore, Neverland's Creative Director and cofounder, told ChicagoPride.com. "But those are actually headpieces made by our special effects makeup artist Kyle Krueger. We thought it would be cool and sexy to see these on the heads of male models and gogo dancers."

This is Neverland's fourth Halloween party, the first having no theme, followed by the super popular "Ratchet Ball" and last year's "Dia De Los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) celebration.

This year, come show off your best outer space, alien and sci-fi looks ("from creepy to camp") and dance to the pulsing beats spun by DJ Escape of NYC's infamous Sunday Service party and local favorite DJ Alexis-R. Kim Chi, Imp Queen, Nico and Sara Andrews host with a much-anticipated special performance by The Vixen.

The fabulous Timmie Foley and Jasmine Quintana, who turned Circuit into a Mayan jungle for Neverland's "Origins" Pride party, are back Saturday transforming the club into an alien crash landing.

"Ever since Pride we've been putting an extreme emphasis on our theatrical set, and I can promise that every Neverland party will always do this from now on," DiFiore said. "When we were a smaller party it was more about the costumes. Now it's about costumes, set, props, lighting...Our team is obsessed with delivering quality production, and our obsession will push us to new limits in the years and parties to come."

Neverland plans on returning to Metro for Pride Saturday next year and has hopes to host parties at the venue for Market Days and possibly even St. Patty's Day weekend as well. For Halloween and their upcoming Purity Ball in December, however, DiFiore says "the size and flexibility of Circuit is simply the perfect choice. The location is convenient, and there is so much room for us to work with."

"Alien Invasion" is also the official after-party of Howard Brown's Advance tickets for "Alien Invasion" are available online for $34.99 in advance or at Egoist Underwear at 3526 N Halsted Street in Boystown.
