Neverland kicks off Pride weekend with Saturday afternoon pool party

Join Neverland for a fabulous, rooftop pool party leading up to the Chicago Pride Parade

Neverland is turning Pride up a notch this weekend with a series of three fabulous, high-end Pride weekend parties designed to bring Chicago into the running with the other major cities holding Pride celebrations the last weekend in June.
"I love Pride! I've never missed a Pride, whether I was living in Philly or traveling around the country or settled here in Chicago," Anthony DiFiore, Neverland's Co-Founder and Creative Director, told ChicagoPride.com. "Part of the reason why I'm a good candidate to help create Chicago Pride's dance party entertainment is because I've seen what they do in Madrid and New York and other major Prides. I can bring those experiences back home and turn ideas into reality."
"When most people come to Chicago for Pride, they arrive on Saturday but have nothing to do during the day," he continued. "This year we're changing that with an outdoor, daytime pool party...tickets have been flying!"
Grab your skimpiest speedo, because it's time to show off that Pride body you've been working so hard for! The weekend kicks off Saturday afternoon with a fabulous outdoor pool party at Wrigley's Deuce's & the Diamond Club. The bar, located just a hop away from Boystown at 3505 N. Clark, is a massive two story bar with a huge outdoor patio, complete with a sleek in-ground pool and private cabanas.
Neverland is beefing up the club's sound system (like only the gays can do) for DJ Alexis-R as well as Los Angeles-based DJ Joshua D who recently headlined a pool party at the legendary White Party in Palm Springs!
The music is bumping from noon to 7 p.m., and while all of the private cabanas and early-bird specials have already sold out, tickets are still available in advance online for $40, or $50 at the door. There are also VIP passes for four chic poolside lounges available for $400, including sofa, chairs and table as well as one bottle of Belvedere to share among the four people's admission it buys.
Neverland is also offering an all-encompassing VIP pass to all three of this year's events: the Saturday afternoon pool party as well as Saturday night's fabulous, over-the-top Bougie Ball at Metro and Sunday's post-Parade closing party at the Mid. The $99 weekend pass is available online, and at Egoist Underwear at 3526 N Halsted in Boystown (for those who want to avoid paying the online service fee).
